Connor Garrett

Co-Founder / Creative Partner

  • I’m a storyteller and a content marketer. I fell in love with writing as a teenager. I was awe-inspired by Tolkien’s worldbuilding, Fitzgerald’s eloquence, Camus’ absurdism, Vonnegut’s genre-bending, and Kerouac’s stream of consciousness.

    My obsession with words led me to treat my own life like a story, chasing experiences from Los Angeles to Lebanon. Along the way, I’ve built brands from the ground up, written novels, worked at ad agencies, and been published in national magazines both in and outside the travel space.

    Specialties: Copywriting, content strategy, SEO writing, content marketing

    How I work: Psychology plays a significant role in my work. My first instinct is to listen, empathize, and understand the problem. Then, I work with collaborators and stakeholders to reverse-engineer how to tell the story around the solution and emotionally engage the target audience.

    When I’m not working: I’m spending time with my wife and kids, working on creative writing projects, traveling, playing basketball and soccer, or getting sunshine. I also enjoy growing my book publishing company, Lucid House Publishing, with my mom and my content marketing agency, Publish Profitably, with my wife. When reading, I’m most likely learning about historical events, content marketing, business, or poetry to find inspiration as a writer.

Co-Founder / Content Strategist

  • After spending over a decade teaching English in the Lebanese school system, I had the good fortune of being introduced to the world of content writing and search engine optimization (SEO). Almost instantly, I fell in love with the idea of putting my passion for storytelling to use in a business context.

    My SEO-driven content writing has generated substantial revenue and traffic to the SnackNation blog, one of the leading authorities on the topic of employee engagement and workplace well-being. Through my experience working with SnackNation and Caroo, I have also developed a deep understanding of content management processes and I play an active part in ensuring we deliver engaging content that our readers -- and search engines find valuable.

    As a multilingual (fluent English, Arabic, Armenian, and adept French), multi-cultural woman, I have spent my life learning and adapting to a variety of environments, which has made me resourceful yet open-minded.
